Speaker Pelosi - G5
Is anyone else out there upset by Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi's hypocritical comments about G5 jets not being available for her (and others) for the Memorial Day weekend????
Just another example of political hypocrisy. The speaker was granted the use of military aircraft for security reasons after 9/11 because that person is in like 3rd in line to be president (a really scary though in the case of Pelosi) but, as usual, she thinks its her birth right or something and expects preferential treatment for her and her family.
She should fly on a military "hop" just like the service members do and here military "escort" should be the other service members who happen to be on the plane at the time.
Hypocritical is right>an elected official who first asked for 757's and now G5's for her personal use. After watching her bitch-slap corporate exec's for their usage, it drives home the point that senators and congressional are in an elite group who want to be above their constituents. Let her fly commercial like Joe Lunchbucket does!!
